Before you visit Disney World, get to know their different ticket options that’s best for you and your family.

With so many ticket options available, it can feel overwhelming trying to figure out which one works best for your family. The truth is, you don’t need to splurge on every add-on to have an amazing experience. Especially if it’s your first time visiting or traveling with kids. Below is a breakdown of the current ticket types and prices Disney World offers along with who they’re best suited for.
Disney World Ticket Options
1 Park Per Day Ticket (ages 10+): Starting at $109/day
This is the basic Disney ticket option and most budget-friendly. You will have all day access to one of Disney’s parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom).
Recommend for:
- First-time visitors
- Families with young children
- Guests who want a more relaxed experience
Spending the full day in a single park is ideal for kids who may tire easily and families who want to experience everything each park has to offer without rushing. You can add on Genie+ (the replacement for FastPass) to skip the lines to avoid waiting.
Park Hopper Option (ages 10+): Add $65/day
For $65 more than the basic price, you will have access to all four of Disney’s in a single day.
Recommended for:
- Disney veterans who know the layout
- Families with teens
- Adults without kids
This is a great perk to hitting the best rides in each of Disney’s theme parks at a fast pace.
Park Hopper Plus Option (ages 10+): Add $85/day
For $80 more than the basic ticket cost, you will have access to all four Disney parks and Disney’s water parks, along with many other fun activities like miniature golf like:
- Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach
- ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (may require additional tickets for certain events)
- Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course (additional green fees)
- FootGolf at Oak Trail (only on certain day/times)
- Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course (1 round before 4PM)
Recommended for:
- Older kids and teens
- Longer vacations (5+ days)
- Families who want to explore more than the theme parks
While this ticket option offers a ton of extras, keep in mind that you may not have enough time to do it all unless you are visiting for several days. For shorter trips or families with small children, this may not be the best option.
Choosing the right Disney World ticket will depend on your group’s age, experience level and energy. Don’t feel pressured to buy the most expensive pass. Disney is magical no matter which option you pick!
